Introduction

But The Comforter, which is The Holy Ghost, Whom The Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:26)

1.What is the work of The Holy Spirit in the life of a believer?

  1. The Holy Spirit is a Seal for believers. (Eph.1:12-14)
  2. The Holy Spirit lives in the heart of a believer. (John 14:16,17)
  3. The Holy Spirit sanctifies the believer. (1 Peter 1:2)
  4. The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. (Rom.8:9,14)
  5. Through the indwelling Spirit of God, the believer knows that he/she dwells in God and that God lives in him/her. (1 John 3:24)
  6. The Holy Spirit empowers the believer for service and an effective witness for Jesus. (John 7:38,39; Acts 1:8)
  7. The Holy Spirit reveals the Truth to the believer. (John 16:13)
  8. The Holy Spirit teaches the believer. (1 Cor. 2:13; John 14:26)
  9. The Holy Spirit in the believer (one who is born again) helps him/her to understand and receive the things of the Spirit of God (John 3:5; 1 Cor.2:12-14)
  10. The Holy Spirit gives guidance to the believer. (Acts 16:6,7)
  11. The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to believers for the edification of the Church (body of believers). (Acts 2:4; 1 Cor. 12:7-11)

  1. Not to despise the Holy Spirit, but to obey Him. (1 Thess. 4:8)
  2. Be led of The Holy Spirit. (John 8:14)
  3. Walk in The Spirit. (Gal. 5:16)
  4. Not to grieve the Holy Spirit.(Eph. 4:30)
